Rumour has it the monolithic limestone rock is the third most magnetic point in the world and has long been referred to as the source of Ibiza’s unexplainable energy. While geologists say no, one thing that is certain is its beauty at sunset.

Cafe Mambo Sunset

Cafe Mambo Ibiza is one of the most remarkable bars and restaurants on the way to San Antonio that is known for its magnificent sunsets while during the day it becomes a great spot for an afternoon stroll or delicious dinner accompanied by picturesque views of the rocky area of White Island and Medditerean Sea. However, it is worth booking a table in advance, especially for the sunset time because these are peak hours at Cafe Mambo.

C’an Marça Caves

Originally used by smugglers to store contraband, the marks they used to guide them in the dead of night can still be seen on the walls. At the heart is a spectacular music and light show with a 10-metre cascade of water. Visitors also get to see the magnificent views out to sea from openings hewn into the cliffside.

Stonehenge Ibiza-Style

Locals speculate that the structure was commissioned by Cirque du Soleil’s founder, Guy Laliberté, in an attempt to guide UFOs to a luxury landing place. The tallest of the 13 basalt columns stands at 10 metres (33 feet) high and is gilded with 23-carat gold; all the stones are arranged in a circle similar to England’s very own Stonehenge.
